1- The Sharqiya Sands is a region of desert in Oman. The region was named for the Bani Wahiba tribe. Divided between the northern and southern governorates in the Eastern Region. The area is defined by a boundary of 180 kilometers north to south and 80 kilometers east to west, with an area of 12,500 square kilometers. 2-Wilāyat Wādī Banī Khālid is a Wilāyah in the Northern Governorate of the Eastern Region of Oman. Located about 126 mi from Muscat, and 120 km from Sur, the province has a wadi which serves as a destination for tourists, that is Wādī Banī Khālid.
