Discover a wonderful blend of ancient history and natural beauty in one of the most beautiful journeys in Oman, from the old city of Nizwa to the charming mountain villages of Jebel Akhdar. We begin our tour by heading to Nizwa, the former historical capital of Oman, where we visit the traditional Nizwa Souq which is bustling with life and color. The souq is one of the oldest markets in Oman, known for its handmade silverware, daggers, pottery, and dates, offering visitors a chance to discover authentic Omani heritage and interact with local artisans. Next, we visit Nizwa Fort, dating back to the 17th century and considered one of the most prominent historical landmarks in the Sultanate. The large circular tower offers a panoramic view of the old city and the adjacent market, reflecting the grandeur of Omani architecture and its defensive role in the past. After a short lunch break, we continue our journey to Jebel Akhdar, known for its natural beauty and mild weather throughout the year. We explore the three mountain villages (Al Aqur, Al Ain, and Al Sireejah) scattered across the lush agricultural terraces, where roses, pomegranates, grapes, and apricots are grown using amazing traditional methods.
