Via Ferrata And Balcony Trekking

A mind-blowing experience of climbing the cliffs of Jabal Shams, all starts with a hike from the village of Al Khatam, along the edges of the canyon called "Balcony Walk", to the abandoned village of "Sab Bani Khamis" where you can see what the local lifestyle was there 70 years ago. Followed by a small rest in the hidden lake getting ready for the Via Ferrata. The climbing route is hung with a stainless-steel cable fixed to the rock to which the climbers affix a harness with two leashes, reaching all the way up 200m cliffs.

Departure Details

Park the vehicles at the starting village Khateem . Receive a safety briefing and gear orientation by our certified guides. Helmets, harnesses, and Via Ferrata Kit will be provided.

Return Details

After the via ferrata we will drop you back to your vehicle.
