Al Buraimi Oasis is an ancient date-palm oasis in Al Buraimi, Oman, sustained by a network of roughly 49 aflaj irrigation channels and historically made up of nine villages including Hamasa, Saara and Haili. Visitors stroll among thousands of date palms and fruit trees, follow the falaj channels and see centuries-old desert farming methods.
