Telegraph Island is a small island in Khor Ash Sham in Musandam, Oman, holding ruins of an 1860s British telegraph relay station on the Bombay-London cable line and said to be the origin of the phrase 'going round the bend'. Visitors swim, snorkel over the reef and explore the old telegraph station ruins on a dhow-cruise stop.
