Khasab is the lively provincial capital of Musandam Governorate, Oman, and the base for boat and mountain trips, with an Old Souq of local crafts and Omani dress and a modern New Souq. Visitors wander the souqs, buy handicrafts and Omani clothing and watch cross-Strait trade boats at the harbour.
