Al Mazyunah is an arid desert wilayat on the Yemen border in Dhofar, Oman, sitting on the fringe of the Rub al Khali and home to Oman's first free zone, established in 1999. Visitors see the desert-border landscape and the free-zone trading hub near the Oman-Yemen frontier.
