Overview
Masirah is Oman's largest island, off the coast of Ash Sharqiyah South, reached by ferry. Wild and windswept, it is famous for its beaches and one of the world's largest loggerhead turtle nesting sites, along with excellent kitesurfing, shipwrecks and flamingo lagoons.

Getting there
