Wadi Bani Khalid is a city in Ash Sharqiyah North, Oman.

Overview

Wadi Bani Khalid is a wilayat in Ash Sharqiyah North Governorate, Oman, wrapped around one of the country's most famous wadis. Perennial turquoise pools fed by mountain springs run between palm groves and rock walls, with the Muqal Cave set into the cliffs above. Villages such as Miqil sit among the date gardens, and shaded pools and riverside cafes make it a popular day trip from the Sharqiyah Sands and Sur.
