About
Nizwa is one of the states of the Sultanate of Oman. It is a state affiliated with the Ad Dakhiliyah Governorate and is considered the tropical regional center of the area, located about 164 kilometers from the capital city, Muscat. Birkat Al Mouz (Gate of Jebel Akhdar) is the name of a district in the Sultanate of Oman, which is affiliated with the state of Nizwa, that is part of the Ad Dakhiliyah Governorate. To the north of Birkat Al Mouz lies Jebel Akhdar, to the east is the state of Izki, and to the south is the state of Manah and the village of Al Muhaywil.
