About
Sharqiya Sands, also known as Wahiba Sands, is a vast 12,500 sq km sea of golden north-south mega-dunes in North Ash Sharqiyah, Oman, reaching up to 100 m and stretching 180 km inland from the Arabian Sea coast. Visitors drive in by 4x4 to explore the dunes, watch sunrise and sunset from the ridges, and overnight at desert camps.
