Ras Al Jinz is a protected turtle reserve at the easternmost point of the Arabian Peninsula, in Oman's Ash Sharqiyah South Governorate. Its beaches are among the most important green turtle nesting sites in the region, drawing thousands of turtles ashore each year to lay their eggs. Guided night and early-morning tours from the on-site visitor centre allow visitors to observe the nesting turtles.
