Al Baleed Archaeological Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in Salalah, Dhofar. Once a thriving medieval port city, it flourished between the 8th and 16th centuries as a major center for the frankincense trade across the Indian Ocean. Visitors can explore the extensive archaeological ruins and the Museum of the Frankincense Land, which showcases Oman’s rich maritime and trading history.
