Al Haffa is Salalah's city beach, a long stretch of pale sand backed by coconut plantations beside the Al Baleed heritage site. Calm and family-friendly, it is a favourite for evening strolls and sunset over the Arabian Sea. The adjacent Al Haffa souq is the traditional market for Dhofari frankincense, incense burners and perfumes. Together the beach and souq make an easy, walkable end to a day in the city.
