The Tomb of Prophet Job (Nabi Ayoub) is a small hilltop shrine in the Jabal Al Qara mountains about 40 km northwest of Salalah, revered as the burial place of the prophet Job. The simple whitewashed mausoleum draws pilgrims, and the ridge-top setting gives sweeping views over the green mountains and the plain below. Cool, often misty air and a small mosque and rest area make it a popular short stop on a mountain drive.
