The Sultan Qaboos Mosque is Salalah's grand mosque, an elegant complex of white domes and twin minarets set in landscaped grounds. Like its counterparts across Oman, it blends contemporary and traditional Islamic design on a generous scale. The prayer halls and courtyards are calm and spacious. Non-Muslim visitors are welcome outside prayer times with modest dress, making it a quiet cultural stop within the city.
