Bilad Sayt is one of Oman's most dramatically sited villages in Ad Dakhiliyah, a terraced oasis on a rock spine at the foot of cliffs rising some 1,000 m. Reached only by 4x4 via Wadi Bani Awf and Al Sahtan or from Al Hamra, it rewards visitors with a mountain drive, green terraces and falaj to walk, and an amphitheatre of cliffs to photograph.
