Husn Jalan Bani Bu Hassan (Al Muhaywil Fort) is a large stone-and-adobe fort in the Al Muhaywil area of Ash Sharqiyah South, Oman, first built in the 9th century AD and restored in 1991, with walls about 5 m high over more than 5,000 square metres. Visitors explore the square fortress with its circular courtyard, governor's quarters, mosque, defensive towers and painted gypsum decoration.
