About
Misfat Al Abriyeen is a traditional mountain village in the wilayat of Al Hamra, Ad Dakhiliyah Governorate, Oman, set in an oasis at about 900 metres in the Western Hajar mountains. It is known for its houses of mud, stone and sarooj, terraced farms, and an ancient falaj irrigation system that waters palm and fruit gardens. It was named to the World Tourism Organization's Best Tourism Villages list in 2021.
