Al Aqur Wall & Square is a restored 1,950 m fortified wall in Ad Dakhiliyah, Oman, with six watchtowers (the tallest 13 m) ringing Nizwa's oldest quarter and most likely built under Imam Al Salt bin Malik al Kharusi. Walk the restored rampart past date orchards and mud houses, climb the towers for views over Al Shahba Fort, and explore the revived Al Aqr village with its cafes and small museums.
