Al Ayn Village is a traditional plateau village in Ad Dakhiliyah, Oman, of centuries-old stone-and-mud houses built into the cliff edge above Wadi al Ayn and ringed by terraced orchards. Visitors wander the old lanes and terraces, see the falaj irrigation and rose and pomegranate plots, and take in canyon-rim views at sunset.
