Tanuf Ruins is an archaeological site in Ad Dakhiliyah, Oman, preserving the evocative remains of old Tanuf village at the foot of the mountains between Nizwa and Al Hamra. The village was destroyed during the Jebel Akhdar War in the 1950s. Visitors explore the ruined mud-brick town, its restored falaj and mosque, and photograph the dramatic cliff setting.
