Wakan is a terraced 'hanging' village about 2,000 m up the Western Hajar in Ad Dakhiliyah, Oman, off the Nakhal-Rustaq road. A path of roughly 700 steps climbs past orchards of apricot, peach and pomegranate and a falaj to a hilltop watchtower and observation points.
