Harat Al Nizar is a still partly-inhabited old neighbourhood in Izki, Ad Dakhiliyah, Oman, dating back over 1,500 years, with ruined houses, mosques and forts bearing intricate carvings. Visitors walk the living heritage quarter and see the inscribed doorways, old mosques and defensive towers.
