Bidbid Fort is a square castle at the centre of Bidbid in Ad Dakhiliyah, Oman, among the region's best-known forts and long a guardian of the gateway between Muscat and the interior. Visitors tour the restored square fort and the surrounding old mud buildings and towers overlooking the wadi.
