The Damask rose farms and terraces at Al Aqor, Al Ayn and Al Shuraijah are cultural landmarks in Ad Dakhiliyah Governorate, Oman, set on terraced fields at around 2,000 m. Thousands of rose shrubs per farm are hand-picked for rose water and oil. Visitors walk the terraces during bloom, watch the hand-harvesting and buy local rose water.
